Mostly, vulnerable populations are left out in development planning if deliberate effort to include them are not factored I from the an set of projects and programmes support poor and vulnerable children to purse their education aspirations. It targets mothers and survivors of gender-based violence through provision of school fees and upkeeps, rescue, provision of safe space, mentorship and linkage to job opportunities to achieve equity. It is also support’s vulnerable boys through rehabilitations, placement in safe spaces and linkage to support system to restore dignity. Bridging the gap This is a mentorship programme for young people aged 10-24 years inspired by the story of the wise and foolish builder in Mathew 7:24-27. The goal is to help them transition in dignity by building strong foundations based on the value. We prepare them to thrive in any environment by imparting key life skills. In the African society, a well laid down structure of passing on important information to younger generations ensured urbanization and modernism and values. With increased urbanization and modernism, these values are disappearing thus exposing the younger generations to risks like drug and substance abuse, HIV infection, pregnancy, mental issues and suicide among marry others. We come in to bridge this gap to enable smooth transition to adulthood. Parenting Adventure Parenting the 21st century child comes with its own unique challenges. It can be lonely, tiring, hard to know what is right coupled with high expectations from the child and competing priorities in career and work. This is further complicated when technology comes into play. Technology has exposed the child to massive information for the child. At times the content is overwhelming and the child choose what to consume depending on how well they are equipped. Unfortunately, in many cases, some information is harmful and life threatening to the child. Parenting adventure comes in to equip parents with knowledge and skills necessary for laying them to face and in the child’s life as way of preparing them to face and conquer their world. It brings parents together to share their own experience, reflect, revise and re-orient them on their parenting styles. Parenting is supposed to be an adventurous journey where lasting memories are made. It complements bridging the gap I creating an enabling environment for re-affirming the values. The alternative frontier This programme aims at broadening the thinking, focus and view of the young people in relation to the challenges they face as well as the available opportunities. More often than not, many people confine themselves in the conventional way in addressing challenges in their lives. Sometimes we are struck with limited choices or no choice at all. The alternatives frontier programme is aimed at pushing individuals out of the comfort zone through changing mindset to explore great opportunities to trust them into realizing their full potential. Fruit tree initiative Growing fruit tree have multiple benefits for the individual, community and the world at large. They provide food, money and environmental benefits. A fruit tree just like another tree provide clean air, reduce cost of energy and green jobs. In hot places, cooling system are used in offices which contribute to more emission of CO2. fruit tree can regulate the temperature hence reduction of CO2 emission. Fruit tree last longer as compared to other trees as their value is seen more in the fruit they continue providing other than in other products like charcoal, timber or firewood they would through being cut. The project responds to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 on climate action, specifically on target thirteen o strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity to climate related hazards and natural disasters. Kenya also has a target of planting 15 billion tree by 2032, a move aimed at reducing green house emission, stopping and reversing disforested and restoring 5.1 million hectares of deforested and degraded landscapes through the African Landscape Restoration initiative. A Rabbit to Every Boy and Girl (AREG&B) A rabbit for every girl and boy is a programme to assist boys and girls transition in dignity to ensure that they have access to the very basic need in life like sanitary pads and under wears. Many girls cannot afford sanitary towels and usually miss school during menses or engages in transactional sex for pad. These items are mainly nit included in the household shopping basket due to widespread poverty. The progammes help boys and girls to rear rabbit and reaches out to the communities to include rabbit meat in their diet as way of supporting them to meet these basic needs. The programme has multiple benefits to the girls and boys as it also teaches them to be responsible. The consumption pattern and behavior of the population is rapidly charging and people are more conscious about their health than ever before. Rabbit meat provides health white meat with low cholesterol, high protein content and easily digestible by the children and elderly. It is also recommended for people with heath conditions like diabetes. Karly J Queens Gender based violence is a human right violation that affects thousand of women and girls every year. This has led to physical harm, emotional and mental damage while other have lost their lives .one of the most common reasons why woman and girls have stayed in abusive environments is lack of alternative shelters mainly driven by economic, social and cultural inequalities. Mostly, vulnerable populations are left out in development planning if deliberate effort to include them are not factored I from the an set of projects and programmes support poor and vulnerable children to purse their education aspirations. It targets mothers and survivors of gender-based violence through provision of school fees and upkeeps, rescue, provision of safe space, mentorship and linkage to job opportunities to achieve equity. Bridging the gap This is a mentorship programme for young people aged 10-24 years inspired by the story of the wise and foolish builder in Mathew 7:24-27. The goal is to help them transition in dignity by building strong foundations based on the value. We prepare them to thrive in any environment by imparting key life skills. In the African society, a well laid down structure of passing on important information to younger generations ensured urbanization and modernism and values. With increased urbanization and modernism, these values are disappearing thus exposing the younger generations to risks like drug and substance abuse, HIV infection, pregnancy, mental issues and suicide among marry others. We come in to bridge this gap to enable smooth transition to adulthood. Parenting Adventure Parenting the 21st century child comes with its own unique challenges. It can be lonely, tiring, hard to know what is right coupled with high expectations from the child and competing priorities in career and work. This is further complicated when technology comes into play. Technology has exposed the child to massive information for the child. At times the content is overwhelming and the child choose what to consume depending on how well they are equipped. Unfortunately, in many cases, some information is harmful and life threatening to the child. Parenting adventure comes in to equip parents with knowledge and skills necessary for laying them to face and in the child’s life as way of preparing them to face and conquer their world. It brings parents together to share their own experience, reflect, revise and re-orient them on their parenting styles. Parenting is supposed to be an adventurous journey where lasting memories are made. It complements bridging the gap I creating an enabling environment for re-affirming the values.
